AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM - WEST PALM BEACH
What is the After School Program?
We offer a Transported After School martial arts program for children ages 6-11 in West Palm Beach, with a focus on character development and life skills lessons. We also have the option for you to drop off students at our location 5 or 3 days per week.
What are the hours of your After School Program?
We follow the Palm Beach School District schedule picking up children after their 2:00pm dismissal. Parents pick up at our location by 6:00pm. Doors open at 3pm for drop off students.
You offer after school pick up from which schools?
We pick up at Grassy Waters Elementary, Seminole Trails Elementary, Egret Lake Elementary, Westgate Elementary and a couple others in our area here in West Palm Beach.
How much is your After School program?
The After School Program for ages 6-11 has a $99 registration fee and a weekly tuition rate of $100 with pick up. The option for you to drop off 5 days a week is $80 per week. To drop off 3 days a week is $55 per week.
Are there any other fees besides the weekly fee in the after school program?
When students are ready to test for the next rank, there is a $50 belt testing fee. We test every 7-8 weeks. Once they become orange belts they have the option to start sparring. The protective equipment cost around $180.
Do you offer camps during holidays?
Yes. We offer camps in Spring, Summer, 3 days on Thanksgiving week and during Winter break.
Do you offer camps when schools are closed?
Yes. We offer camps on teacher training days when palm beach county schools are closed. All dates will be posted in the school and in our App.
Do you offer late pick up for after school?
Not on a regular basis. If you plan to be late let us know ahead of time. Fee is $20 per hour and no later than 7pm. Late pick up after 6:00pm without notification carries a fee of $1 per minute charged automatically to your card on file.

At what age can my child start taking classes?
We offer classes for children starting at 4 years old. Martial arts practice is great in helping children to strengthen their motor skills and coordination.
How many classes per week can my child take?
We recommend taking classes twice a week for the best results. This creates a structured practice schedule for the student. We also have options for once a week or more.
What is the cost after the trial?
Our twice a week program is $175/month. We have 6-month options for you to consider that give you a 20% discount.

What martial arts do you teach?
We offer traditional Taekwondo lessons as well as boxing and kickboxing training for teens and adults.
How many kids per class?
Our class size averages 8 to 12 students.
Will you honor the belt my child currently has?
Yes, definitely. Upon a student's first class with us, we will transfer their current rank to one that is appropriate within our belt system.
Do you offer any sibling discounts?
Yes, we offer 20% off to the 2nd immediate family member off our normal tuition.
Where are you located?
We are located in the Publix plaza at 4065 N. Haverhill Rd, #B-3, West Palm Beach, FL 33417.
Do I have to commit to certain classes or can I come whenever?
We offer an open class schedule.
Do you have belt testing fees?
Test fee is $50. We test students who are ready every 7-8 weeks.
Are there any other fees besides the membership fee?
When a student is ready for sparring practice, a protective equipment set is required. When students are ready to test for the next rank, there is a $50 belt testing fee. We test every 7-8 weeks.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer month to month memberships with the ability to cancel with 14-days notice.
What do I wear for my first class?
We recommend comfortable athletic wear.
How long is the class time?
Varies by age. Tigers 35 minutes; Juniors 40 minutes; Adults and teens 45 minutes
Do parents have to stay for the class?
We recommend parents to stay. However, if you have errands and other activities that needs your attention, we ask that you pick up your student promptly at the end of their class.
What is your make-up policy?
We offer an open class schedule that will allow you to easily make up classes that you miss.
How safe are your classes?
Members are separated by experience and age level. Additionally, close supervision of students from our Instructors ensures a very safe class.
Do I need prior martial arts experience?
No. Our beginner program and trial lessons are a great way for new students to start the martial arts journey.
Do you have to be physically fit to start in Martial Arts?
No. Our goal is to help our students in improving their physical and mental health. You will train at your own pace.
Will Taekwondo Increase Aggression in Students?
No. Training in Taekwondo teaches the opposite of violence and aggression. The focus is on staying calm, maintaining self-control, and behaving honorably in all scenarios in and out of the studio.
Can You Get Injured in Martial Arts Training?
In any sport, there is a risk of injury. However, martial arts is one of the most effective exercises. The techniques and moves are closely supervised by out Instructors to ensure they are done correctly and safely, minimizing the risk of an injury.
Can I bring a friend to the intro lesson?
Definitely. We find that new students who brings a friend with them have more fun and are more comfortable in their first class.
When can we start?
Our classes are on-going and members can begin their journey when they are ready.
What makes your studio different from your competitors?
There are many great martial art schools in our community and each has a unique benefit. However, we pride ourselves on teaching students to be well-rounded martial artists inside and outside of our studio. We focus on safety and fun as our two pillars of education. Apart from the physical, our members are a close-knit, supportive community. We pride ourselves in being a martial arts family.
What is your class schedule?
We offer classes Monday - Thursday starting at 5pm, and Saturday mornings starting at 10am. When are your kickboxing classes?

What's the price of your kickboxing classes?
You can do a pay-per-class at $20/class. Once a week for $50/month or our most popular 2 classes per week for $100/month.

Is there a free class or free trial?
Yes, we offer 1 free week of classes for new students. Boxing gloves are recommended but you can do without for the week.

Do you have to be physically Fit to start in Fitness Kickboxing?
No. You can start slow at your own pace and slowly catch up as your fitness level improves.
Do you have showers and changing rooms?
No. We are a small studio where students usually arrive 5 minutes before the start of class all ready to go. However, our bathroom is super clean and spacious should you need to change before or after class.
How old (age) do you have to be for Fitness Kickboxing?
Our program currently is only available for adults and teens every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am - 8:45am.
CAMPS - ON SPRING, SUMMER, FALL & WINTER
What kind of camps to you offer?
We offer Spring Camp, Summer Camp, 3-Day Thanksgiving Camp, Winter Camp and single Day Camps on teacher workdays when the kids don’t have school and during the previously mentioned weekly camps.
What are the ages for children to participate in camp?
Our weekly camps are for children ages 6-11.
Do you have Day Camps during the school year?
Yes. Single Day Camps are available on teacher work days and certain holidays for children ages 5-11, running from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
What do you do in camp?
We provide martial arts lessons, fun training, games, crafts and may other activities in a safe and structured setting. During some week-long camps we take field trips to area parks, playgrounds, and even the beach during summer.
How long is your camp?
Our camp runs daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Camp activities start at 10:00am until 3:30pm.
Does my child need to know martial arts to attend camp?
No. Lessons and activities are great for all skill and fitness levels.
What is the cost of your camp?
Weekly camps like spring, summer and winter have a rate of $195 per week. 3-Day camps are $145. Single day camps are $50.
Can I bring a friend or family member to camp?
Yes. Camps are open to children ages 6-11.
What is your camp cancellation policy?
Camp payments are non-refundable. We will give you credit for a future camp.
How do I enroll my child?
Register online at any time. Use the menu above under CAMPS. For your convenience, our camp registration and payment forms are online. Once you register, one of our camp directors will contact you to answer questions and make sure that you are ready for your first day of camp.
What if my child will be absent from camp?
Campers are to be signed in to camp by 10:00am each morning. If your child will be absent from camp please call or email the camp director to inform them of the absence by 10:00am. Since camper attendance relies on parents or guardians dropping children off at camp, Camp personnel will not attempt to contact parents, guardians or emergency contacts if child is not signed in as expected. Fees will not be refunded for missed camp days.
What if my child has food allergies?
Make sure that you communicate with ZMA Camp Directors. Please clearly list any allergies your child has on your registration form. Ask your child not to share or accept food from others.
Do you accept government assisted payments / offer reduced camp tuition?
No. We are a private organization and do not qualify for government assisted payments. Space in our camp program is limited, and we are unable to offer discounts of any type.
Can i register my child for just one week?
Yes. Our camp registration is by week. However, our camp always fills up, so as soon as you know which weeks you would like to book, register online.
What if am late and can’t pick up my child by 5PM?
Please call us so that we are aware. Late pick up carries a fee of $1 per minute charged automatically to your card on file.
Do you offer late pick up for camps?
Yes. We can provide late pick up until 6pm. Fee is $25 per week. You must make this arrangement and payment ahead of time.
